E-8 system is a set of all-digital building intercom system based on TCP/IP network. The unit host, indoor extension, villa host and management center computer in the system all have relatively fixed IP addresses. In order to facilitate the management of each device in the network, E8 system has written a default network configuration table (storing unit and room number information) into each device when leaving the factory. If there are no special requirements, the configuration table is generally, no changes to the configuration table.

The basic process is as follows

1. non-face unit host, villa host, extension, security extension
The computer runs the "non-face host extension tool FileClient" software, enters the IP address of the device, and then clicks
"Upgrade network configuration table. Before upgrading, you need to set the computer and the device on the same network segment;
Host IP address query: enter the background system settings, select to view system information;
Villa host IP address query: power on the boot when the voice broadcast;
IP address inquiry of extension: after power-on and power-on, click the menu to select-function-system/call ladder;
Security extension IP address query: menu selection-system settings-system information;

2. Face Host
The computer runs the "Android Face Host PC Tool" software, enters the IP address of the host, and then clicks "Upgrade Configuration Table. Before upgrading, you need to set the computer and the host on the same network segment;

Another: matters needing attention when placing orders in E8 system
In view of the particularity of the E8 digital intercom system, and in order to avoid the convenience of placing orders and maintaining in the future, I hereby make some explanations for the E8 system:
First, due to the particularity of the system network configuration table, it is necessary to submit to the customer service of the head office the point table (see the table below) of the actual use of the equipment to be ordered (such as the number of buildings, the number of units, the number of layers, the number of households per layer), so as to facilitate the equipment to import the corresponding configuration table during production.
Second, the same type of host or extension cannot be used in different cells. If there is a need to exchange, the corresponding network configuration table needs to be updated.
Three: For batch transfer, the configuration table version number of the last transfer shall be provided during the next transfer (which can be queried on the main/extension menu).
Four: on the system wiring: in principle, it is recommended that the intercom system independent wiring, if there is a need to be incorporated into the monitoring or other network systems, when placing a special note.
Five: once the configuration table is completed, the IP address is fixed and cannot be changed. therefore, if there are special requirements for IP address, it must be explained in advance.
Six: The default configuration table version for single-family hosts has included 10-to -10 villa machines (I .e. 10 villa hosts calling 10 extension machines) to meet the needs of most occasions (e.g. IP does not meet the requirements and needs to be reconfigured).
Seven: All equipment in E8 system only supports 100Mbps rate (I .e. 100M network port). Attention should be paid when selecting switches.
Eight: If there are multiple sub-extension in a room number (room number 2F in the following table), it also needs to be explained.
9. about the network configuration table: the network configuration table contains-room number, IP address, subnet mask, gateway, name and other information, so different configuration tables cannot be mixed.

2:POE power supply mode: the network cable adopts TIA/EIA568B standard line sequence, in which blue/blue and white are positive electrodes and brown/brown and white are negative electrodes.
3. Power supply power: the power consumption of each extension is about 6 watts, and the power supply power should be greater than 80 watts when using an 8-port POE switch (the unit host does not support POE power supply);
